We Pray For...

(NEW UPDATE) Pansy Flanary- Please pray for Pansy. She fell and broke her ankle in three places, and will probably have surgery in the coming days. (UPDATE 4/9)- Pansy will have surgery on April 17th.

(NEW UPDATE) Teresa Cowden- Teresa is still anemic, but she has gained back a pint and a half of blood. She will have an endoscopy on April 9th. Also, she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will have a lumpectomy on April 16th at Indian Path Hospital.

(PRAISE REPORT!) Kenzie (Linda Hatfield's granddaughter)- Kenzie is now home from the hospital. Please continue to remember her in prayer as she recovers.

(PRAISE REPORT!) Babs Willis (Lee Ann Davis's mother) - Test results showed that the spot on Bab's lung is benign!! Lee Ann would like to thank everyone for their prayers.

(PRAISE REPORT!) Matt Smith (Krystal Blakley's brother-in-law)- Matt's brain scan was clear, so there has been no new tumor growth- Praise the Lord!!

(NEW UPDATE) Josh Blakley and family- Please pray for Josh Blakley and family. Josh's grandfather passed away last week.

Brian and Jackie Potter- Please pray for Brian and Jackie, as well as Lauren. Brian has been diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. Please pray for direction as they determine the next steps.

Janet Hulsey- Please remember Janet in prayer. Janet is home and is scheduled to have a pacemaker insertion procedure on April 22nd at Holston Valley.

Bob Cowden (Teresa Cowden's Nephew)- Please continue to remember Bob as he begins chemo and radiation, and pray specifically that there is no additional growth with the tumor.

Nancy Barnett (Teresa Cowden's sister)- Nancy is now at home. It was determined that the bleeding was due to too much blood thinner. This should resolve with a medication change. She continues to have swelling in her feet and ankles, so she has several follow-up visits this week. Please continue to pray for her as she recovers from the fall.

Randy and Donna Kinsler- Please remember Randy and Donna in prayer, as Randy continues to heal from surgery on his leg.

Fred Phillips- Please pray for Fred and his family. He was just diagnosed with bladder cancer and lymphoma and will be starting chemo very soon. Fred is the father of Olivia Phillips, who is engaged to Tyler Starnes (son of JC and Freda Starnes).

Lanny Summers (Jeff "Spanky" Summer's brother and friend to many in our church)- Please remember Lanny in prayer. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
